Author bio

Ngo Hong Quang (born on December 14, 1983) is a musician, songwriter, and singer. He is one of the leading contemporary artists in Vietnam and has contributed to the exploration and popularization of the dan chieng day to the public.

Growing up in an artistic family, Ngô Hồng Quang had a strong musical foundation and began studying the dan nhi, a traditional Vietnamese musical instrument, at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in 1994. He graduated in 2006 and became a lecturer there. In 2010, Quang pursued a master's degree in composition at the National Music Academy of the Netherlands and continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague in the Netherlands in 2014.
