The "Voice of Hiroshima Survivor Trees" VOICE GEM has been selected as a finalist for two Lumen Prize awards, a prestigious recognition in the art and technology world. This Voice Gem is unique, with its color and form generated not from a human voice but from the voice of a special tree. The sounds captured by Philip Clemo using a specialized microphone reveal the internal movements of this tree, recorded exactly 75 years after the Hiroshima bomb's devastating impact.

The project has begun producing collaborative VOICE GEMS collections, manifesting as large scale new-media, lab-grown physical pieces, installations, and sculptures. Notably Reeps100 and Trung Bao have produced rare pieces from recordings of loved ones who have passed on.
